12 June
World Anti-Child Labor Day
Since 2002, 12 June has been celebrated as World Anti-Child Labor Day every year. The International Labor Organization plays a major role in celebrating this day. The main objective of this day is to create awareness and take effective measures to stop the recruitment of child labor in both the economic and military sectors. The day discusses government and non-government measures to prevent child labour. Some countries have declared June 12 a public holiday.
