There was no nationalism or concept among medieval European people, because they had to express their loyalty to the head of the Roman Catholic Church Pope. They also maintained more relationships with the noble and landowners. There was no royal devotion or loyalty of the common subjects or farmers with the rulers who did not have direct relationships with the subjects. In the true sense, the landowners or feudals were the only ones. In the Middle Ages, the common people and the Nobals were illiterate. The education system was limited to the priests and therefore the national concept was not created among them due to lack of proper education. However, with the establishment of a monarchy in various parts of Europe and the fall of parallel practices led to an increase in the trust of the common people in the king. The heads of the powerful monarchy cut off the relationship with the Roman pope and laid the foundation of national dharma. There are 1000+ jobs in the country.
Education was expanded in the middle. These were the characteristics of the modern era and they increased national concepts among people.
