The First World War was fought between July 28, 1914 and November 11, 1918. Most countries of Europe as well as Russia, America and Turkey also participated in it. This battle was fought mostly in the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia. About 13 lakh soldiers from India participated in this battle.
