International Poverty Alleviation Day is observed every year on October 17. On October 17, 1987, nearly 100,000 people gathered in Paris, France to express their condolences to those who lost their lives in poverty, starvation, terror and terror, demanding a realistic step to eradicate poverty. The protesters pointed out that the death of a person in extreme poverty means violation of human rights. So there were demands to bring poverty under the ambit of human rights. Later, on October 17, poverty alleviation day was celebrated. This day was later recognised by the United Nations. The day discussed the issue of poverty in various ways and also discussed ways to find ways to remove this problem.
